'Tis the season to be jolly! and thankful! What are your plans for this season? Are you going out of town? Are the kids coming to see you and bringing along the grandkids, and their dogs and cats? Do you attend any of the many programs put on at this time of year?
Is there anything special you'd like to get as a gift? We're not Santa Claus so you won't get it from us, but maybe someone will be looking in and surprise you.
Let us know here. We'd like to hear how you spend your holidays!! (11/10/2007)
Hi Glenn,
ReplyDeleteMy family and I are going to Mitchell to spend Thanksgiving with Mary's parents! Good food and football.
I don't know what I'll be doing as yet. When I was a young boy, there was no doubt. We'd spend one Christmas at our home, and the next at Grandma and Grampa's. And we always had more snow back in those days. We could see where Santa Claus left his tracks.
ReplyDeleteThis is Bill Goebel,
ReplyDeleteWe are staying home for Thanksgiving. My daughter and family from the Mpls area are coming down. Also my son and his family from the Black Hills area are coming. My son and his wife from here are hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I'm glad we decided to finish the basement when we built our new home this summer. We have a nice bedroom, bathroom, and family room ready. My son in Custer spoke for it first.
I hope everyone reading this will have a nice Thanksgiving also.
What a wonderful way to celebrate Thanksgiving!! with a new home, and with all your family there. You do have a lot to be thankful for!! And your son and his wife are hosting--does that mean you don't have to do any of the cooking?
